Sports and arts in my life

Sport is everything for me and I can’t imagine my life without it. It keeps me to keep fit, fine, phiscal and mental strange. It also improves the personality of people. If you practice regularly it keeps your organs healthy. Playing sports develops skills such as leadership, responsibility and confidence. It also reduces stress and tension. My favorite sports are volleyball and swimming. I practice them twice a week. Besides sport I’m fond of art too. My favorite art styles are abstractionism, cubism. Cubism is that the objects are broken up and analyzed. This movement was done by Pablo Picasso. He constracted sculpture from separate elements. This visual type of art is great. It effects on art, on film, on architecture. It is also a movement of art where shape, form and color is important to create a composition. Abstractionism expresses contrast of colors, size and shapes. I have my own style of art: cubism and abstractionism. When I’m in a good mood I turn on some music and while listening to musice I create my work.

Folk music and dance classes in our school. The song and dance which I like most of all.

Folk music and dance are also very important for our education. Falk music helps us to know much about our Armenian history. And our national dances express our national character. We have falk music and dance classes ones a week. To my mind every armenian should know armenian dances and falk music very well. When I meet someone who sings armenian falk music or dances armenian traditional dance together with singing I feel proudness of being armenian. Sometimes we dance and sing different types of songs because we don’t want to do the same thing all the time. Armenia is a mountainous country and the armenians are strong and proud like the mountains. We had a lot of strong castels in our history. And best of all I like the dance “fortrees”, the dance is performed only by men. It is a unique dance in the world, the dancers stand on each others’ shoulders making a defensive wall. I like also Papuri, which means to break, by hitting the ground helpes to get rid of evil or negativeness.

The characters who changed the world

As we know there are some people who changed the world. Here are some people who did it: Pablo Picasso, Leonardo Da Vinci, Hovhannes Aivazovsky, Bruce Lee, Marie Curie, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ilon Mask, Steve Jobs, Dara Torres and many other characters.

Darra Torres is an american competitive swimmer, who is a 12-time Olympic medalist and former world record-holder in three events. Torres is the first swimmer to represent the United States in five Olympic Games. I get inspired by Dara Torres 5-time Olimpic Veteran, mother, author, speaker and business woman. She is the womon who inspired millions across the globe. She is the author of 2 best-selling books, ” Age is the number”, and “Gold Medal Fitness”. She inducted into the Olympic and Paralympic Halls of fame in 2019. She reported and announced for cable and broadcast networks such as NBC, ESPN, TNT, OLN and Fox News Channel; served as a correspondent for swimming and track events for SportsChannel America and SportsChannel Florida. She was the oldest swimmer in Olympic history at 41 years old. She goes on inspering the women every women over 40 can use her advice and stay confident and stay happy at every period of life.

Blog as a educational tool

There are many ways to use blog in teaching and learning. We use blogs to provied information. Blog is very useful for educational process. Blogs support our learning. It helps grow learning communites by allowing students to share experiences while learning. Blogs let us to explore possible solutions, do the hardwork and develops our critical thinking. Blogs encourage our creativity. As a learning tool there is no hard and fast way to work or to do our homework. We enjoy the benefits of its use, especially in the filed of communication, which is one of the basic part of nowadays education. We can also use a blog to publish photos of our trips, articles, class activites and projects. First of all we use our blogs for doing our homework and communicate with our teachers. They check our homework by entering our personal blogs. There we share our impressons about the meeting that we particpated. We write about our travelings and trips in our blogs. When we go three days traveling in that case we can write even a story about it. And its getting funny when you trying to remember every momenet of that traveling and you want to write about it in your report or cover. 

Internet in my life

Internet is a great invention. It has changed the lives of all people on our planet. Many things have become easier and there are many things that can be done from the comfort of your own home. You can order food, you can buy clothes online, you can even work or study online. Internet is a global world network which has united people with different countries and different continents. We are able to chat with our relatives or our friends through the internet.  Shopping has become much easier. If you are too busy and can’t go shopping you can order all the necessary products at the online store. And they are delivered within a day or hours. Some people order medical pills, tickets, clothes and any other items. But on the other hand some people have become lazier. They rarely walk or do phisical exercises. They don’t need to bother themselves, as everything can be done with one click of button. I want to say that when I need some items we go shopping and do it with pleasure. I mostly use internet to chat with my relatives who live abroad. It helps us to touch with them, I also use internet for my studyings. I think there is no one who can study without the internet. It is a great help in every students’ life. We just need to learn how to separate useful information from useless which can do harm people. 

What are the advantages of studying at Mkhitar Sebastatsi EduComplex?

I’m proud of that I study at Mkhitar Sebastatsi EduComplex. We have a unique educational system because we work with computers. We do a lot of projects, we do a lot of school trips. We enjoy ourselves and get educated by traveling. The educomplex includes 7 school and I study at one one of them at high school. The schools are: Eastern school, Northern school, Western school, Southern school, College, The main school includes Middle and High schools and. These are called wonders. We grow everything and take care of them. There is a greenhouse in College. We grow both plants and trees in the school yard. We try to keep the inviroment clean. During the trips and during  the lessons we always gather litter and throw it in to the bins and recycle them into piece of art. The second wonder is our sport grounds. I like to get trained there. The thred is the farm. We raise the domestic birds and animals there. The forth wonder is the morning assembly which takes place between 9.00am and 9.20am. The fifth wonder is doing the lessons with computers. It develops our computer skills. We all have our personal blogs and refresh our sites every day. Our teachers check our homework through computers. The sixth wonther is our elective subject. Which we have 4 times a week. We can choose that subject which we want to study. During these classes we can study lenguages, drawing, sculpturing, graphic designing, programming, doing wood art, doing jewelry design etc. And the last wonder is the choice of our sport type. Which we have 2 times a week. During these classes we can study how to play handball, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, gymnastics, fencing, archery and shooting.

Name, surname, grade

I’m Maria Abrahamyan. I’m 14 years old. I study at Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex. I’m in the 9th grade. I have always been trying to study all the subjects very well. I’m trying to develop my oral speech, because I think I do all my written work better, I think hard, I can do exercises or translations in a written form better than orally. So I will do my best to develop my oral speech too. I have been studing at my school educational complex since 2013. I like my school very much, I love my teachers too, because they are so understanding, patient and kind to us. They did their best to give us much knowledge, mastering computer skills and habits. I love our school atmosphere and society and I wouldn’t like to change my school, because it is the best home of mine.

How are my elective subjects related to my future career?

My elective subject is related to my future career because when I was in the 6th grade I chose drawing. But when I was in the 7th grade I changed my elective subject and chose photoghraphing. In the 8th grade I didn’t change my elective subject it stayed the same. And these term I chose graphic design. In the nearest future I shall become an architecture.

Do my abilities, character traits, and hobbies match my future career?

I think my abilities, character traits, and hobbies match with my future career, because I see everything in the right way, I’m a straight thinker and see everthing directly. I’m also an exemplary student. I shall do my best to become a demanded architecture.

What educational projects and research activities have I carried out that may be related to my future profession?

I want to tell about my exhibition which took place within a week. I was much impressed by that exhibition, because it was the first time I had presented my work in the sphere of graphic design. I had made stickers and logos. It wasn’t my first exhibition. I had many exhibitions during my educational years in different spheres.

What books and articles have I read that really meet my interests?

I have read many books but they are out of my interest. While reading I came across to many aphorisms which are related to my interests and character traits. I’m fond of the aphorisms of Steave Jobs for example: It is necessary to work not 12 hours a day, but with your head.

Have the meetings with the invited specialists at the educational complex played any role in my professional orientation?

There have been many meeting with the invited specialists at our educational complex. The last meeting in which I paricipated it was about miniature painting. I was much impressed by that meeting because I was interested in that style of drawing and used that style.

Where will I continue my education after leaving the 9th grade?

Maybe I will continue my education at National University of Architecture and Construction. Where I shall study at collage or high school I can’t say it properly.

I have been going in for swimming for 4 years. I became a skilled swimmer. I wasn’t so practiced and couldn’t win for the first time. But 6 months later I became more practiced and won the second place. Some years later I participated in the swimming competition in which I competed with professional swimmers and won the second place. It was a great success for me because I did my best to achieve that result. In 2020-2021 years I won the first prize and I felt myself confident and happy. And now I’m proud of my result.

Besides swimming I have gone in for English studies for a long time. Besides computer skills I have developed my English oral speech and grammar. I think I shall still continue my self-education of English, I want to know it better because I know if I want to have a good career and a good profession I should know and master English very well.
